About Us.

At Gibney Mobile Healthcare we are dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for underserved communities by providing accessible and compassionate care. Our organization was founded by Dr. Sandra Gibney, an emergency medicine doctor who has dedicated her career to serving those in need.

We understand that there can be significant barriers to accessing healthcare and we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality care, regardless of their circumstances.

Our team of healthcare professionals is highly trained and experienced in providing street medicine, which involves providing care directly to individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional medical settings. This type of care can include wound care, basic medical care, mental health services, and addiction treatment, among other services.

We work closely with community organizations and other healthcare providers to ensure that our patients have access to the resources they need to maintain their health and well-being. Our approach is patient-centered and non-judgmental, and we are committed to treating all patients with the respect and dignity they deserve.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our organization has remained committed to serving our patients. We have worked tirelessly to provide testing and vaccinations to those in need, and we are proud to have played a small part in helping to mitigate the spread of the virus. Most recently, we have been providing wound care at Brandywine Counseling & Community Services mainly for Xylazine induced wounds. Xylazine, a commonly used veterinary tranquilizer, has become a significant public health concern due to its abundance in commonly used drugs of abuse and its detrimental effect on skin. Our team of healthcare professionals is highly trained and experienced in treating wounds associated with Xylazine use.

In addition to our wound care services, we are excited to announce that we are launching a mobile healthcare unit for community health outreach. This unit will allow us to bring our services directly to the communities that need them most, providing primary care, wound care and reproductive care services to those who might not otherwise have access.

We are committed to providing compassionate care to all patients, and we are always looking for new ways to improve our services and make a positive impact in our community.
